German baritone (1918-1982) and German baritone (1905-1969), double signed postcard photograph, shown in roles in the world premiere production of Roger Session's opera Montezuma at the Deutsche Opera in Berlin. Signatures from both artists on the front with additional initialized greeting from Nissen on verso. Stamped on verso by photographer Willott, Berlin. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, in very good condition. 

Austrian soprano (1894-1976), Signed photograph, shown as herself, inscribed, dated in Munich in 1942. Bold handwriting and signature. The photo size is 6.5 x 9 inches and is mounted onto a larger cardboard folder of 9.5 x 13.5 inches put together by the photographer A. Sahm, Munich (whose printed signature is on the front side of the photo, Kruyswyck's signature and inscription is on the third page of this four page folder directly underneath the photo). Vintage item in excellent condition. 

German tenor (1874-1966) and his wife, German soprano (1878-1958).  Set of 2 double signed postcard photographs,  shown as themselves as a couple, one of which is heavily inscribed on verso.  Size of each is 3.5 x 5.5 inches, some small creases, otherwise in excellent condition. American tenor (1903-1983), who had a long career, including 25 seasons at the Metropolitan Opera in New York. Signed photo, shown as himself, inscribed. Size is 8 x 10 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian bass-baritone (1909-1995), known for singing at the Vienna State Opera, remarkable in his interpretations of Mozart roles.  Signed photograph, shown as Papageno in Die Zauberflote at Salzburg Festival in 1955. Size is 3.5 x 5.5 inches. Stamped on verso by photographer Fayer, Vienna, in excellent condition.

Austrian bass-baritone (1909-1995), known for singing at the Vienna State Opera, remarkable in his interpretations of Mozart roles. Signed photo postcard, shown in the title role in Don Pasquale, opera by Donizetti. Size is 3.25 x 5.25 inches, minor smudge on the signature, otherwise in excellent condition.

German soprano (1906-1987), outstanding in Wagner, Strauss and Mozart roles, and became a voice teacher at the Munich Music Conservatory. Signed photo postcard, shown in Die Liebe der Danae in the public premiere cast in Salzburg, 1952. Size 5.5 x 3.5 inches. Blind stamped on the front by photographer Ellinger, Salzburg, in excellent condition.

Austrian soprano (1874-1933), created the role of Zerbinetta in the world première of the second version of Richard Strauss's Ariadne auf Naxos in Vienna in 1916. Famous Italian singing teacher (1839-1910), son of the singing teacher Francisco Lamperti. He was the author of The Technics of Bel Canto (1905) and source for Vocal Wisdom: Maxims of Giovanni Battista Lamperti (1931). Signed photograph, shown as himself, inscribed and dated in 1902. The photo is 4.25 x 5.75 inches mounted onto soft cardboard (the signature is on the bottom of the cardboard not on the photo), total item size is 8.5 x 9.5 inches. Some mounting traces on verso and small rips on far edges of the cardboard, otherwise in excellent condition.   

German tenor (1891-?), who performed the role of Stroh in the 1924 world premiere of Richard Strauss's Intermezzo. Signed cabinet photo, shown young as himself, dated by him in Dresden, 1913. A photo by Hahn Nachfolder, Dresden, size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, signature and inscription have poor contrast, photo is in excellent condition.

American tenor and actor (1921-1959), a Hollywood movie star in the 1940s and 1950s, famous for his role in the movie about Caruso. Gorgeous black and white photograph signed and inscribed by him. Greek tenor (1888-1971), whose real name was Odysseus Lappas, sang throughout Europe from 1914 through about 1940, made several recordings.  Signed photograph, shown as himself, printed signature of photographer in front. Size is 8 x 10 inches, mounting traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.   

Scottish singer and comedian (1870-1950), with international success in both music hall and vaudeville.  Fine signed photo, inscribed, size is 3.4 x 5.4 inches, ownership ink stamp on verso, in excellent condition.

American soprano (1926-2012), famous for performing over 40 roles, singing with every major opera company of the United States, and for winning a Grammy Award in 1966. Signed photo, shown in role in Marvin David Levy's: Morning Becomes Electra from the world premiere production at the Metropolitan Opera. Size is 8 x 10 inches. American soprano (1926-2012) and American bass-baritone (1928-2006), who were married to each other and frequently performed together. Double signed photograph, shown as themselves, young. Austrian-American singer and also actress (1898-1981), well remembered for her performances of the songs of her husband Kurt Weill. Beautiful black-and-white photo postcard signed by her, dated in New York, 1974.  Size is 3.4 x 5.6 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian soprano (1898-1981), actress, and storyteller. Gorgeous photo postcard signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, shown in role in Bertold Brecht's Mother Courage, dated in 1979.  Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian mezzo-soprano (1903-?), set of 2 signed photographs, mounted on both sides of a 9.75 x 11.5 inch piece of cardboard.  One photo shows her in the role of Prince Orlofsky in Johan Strauss's Die Fledermaus at the Vienna State Opera, the other as herself. Bold handwriting and signatures on each, both written in attractive silver ink.  Each photo is 7 x 9.5 inches and cannot be unmounted and thus cannot be sold separately, both are in excellent condition. Attractive vintage item!

Welsh tenor (1914-1990) who enjoyed a successful career in the mid 20th century and made a number of recordings. Large photograph signed and inscribed by him, dated in 1967. Photo's size is 10.5 x 13.25 inches, mounted on a mat for a total size of 14.25 x 17.9 inches, damage on corners of the mat, in excellent condition.

English soprano (1885-1969), signed photograph, shown as herself, dated in 1928. This is a 5.5 x 7.75 inch photo mounted onto soft cardboard, signature is directly underneath the photo near the bottom of the cardboard.  Stamped on cardboard verso by photographer Tuttenberg, Manchester. Total item size is 9 x 13.5 inches, small bends and some silvering near the top of the photo, otherwise in excellent condition. 

Italian tenor (1968-2011); and Argentine tenor (b.1962) CD album "Duetto" signed by both artists on the first page of the booklet. CD included (not tested). Size is 5.5 x 4.8 inches, jewel box, in very good condition.

Swiss-born Italian tenor (1968-2011) and Argentine tenor (b.1962). Fantastic color glamour photograph signed by both tenors. Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, in excellent condition.

Swiss-born Italian tenor (1968-2011) and Italian soprano (b.1966). Fantastic color photograph boldly signed by both artists, shown in Act II of Puccini's Tosca at the Vienna Staatsoper in 2002.  Size is 5 x 7 inches, in excellent condition.

Cuban baritone and allegedly spy for the CIA, arrested by the Cuban government.  Beautiful black-and-white photograph signed by him, shown as Marcello in Puccini's "La Bohème", dated in Havana, 1935. Size is 7.5 x 9.5 inches, silvering around borders, in very good condition.

Star French soprano (1890-1979), one of the greatest Wagnerian sopranos during the 1930s and 1940s, who had many complications due to an alleged association with the Germans during the occupation of France. Extra large photograph signed by her, shown as Elsa in Wagner's Lohengrin -one of her best roles. Size is 16 x 20 inches, minor creases, otherwise in excellent condition. Rare!.  

Prominent Austrian soprano (1841-1908), who captured Meyerbeer and Aubers' attention, getting her to perform at the Berlin State Opera where she successfully remained for years. Signature on album page attached to a half-tone photograph of her, dated in 1892. Size 4.5 x 7 inches. Rare!

Prominent Austrian soprano (1841-1908), who captured Meyerbeer and Aubers' attention, getting her to perform at the Berlin State Opera where she successfully remained for years. An original carte-de-visite (CDV) of her by photographer Bergamasco signed by the soprano, mounted over a slightly larger piece of paper. Size is 2.6 x 4.25 inches, in very good condition.

Beautiful photograph signed by the three artists, shown respectively as the Marschallin, Baron Ochs, and Octavian in Richard Strauss's Der Rosenkavalier. Size is 4.5 x 6.5 inches, slight fuzziness on the far left side of the photo, not affecting the stage images and signatures, otherwise in very good condition.
