Photo postcard signed by the star American-Greek soprano (1923-1977), shown as Imogene in Il Pirata (opera by Bellini), at Teatro La Scala. Boldly signed and dated by her in 1973, size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian-American pianist (1903-1989), one of the greatest of the 20th century. Signed photo, dated by him in 1944. Size is 3.6 x 5.25 inches, in excellent condition.

French actress and singer (1875-1956), and a very famous entertainer in her time, her real name was Jeanne Bourgeois. Signed photo, inscribed and dated in 1950, an original photo by Harcourt, Paris, size is 7 x 9 inches, in excellent condition.

Star German conductor and composer (1886-1954), one of the greatest of the 20th century. Beautiful signed photo postcard, in Bayreuth Festival, shown young. Size is 3.4 x 5.4 inches, in excellent condition.

Lithuanian-born American violinist (1901-1987), a superstar performer for decades, Heifetz focused on teaching after a long, highly successful career performing in concerts and recording. Signed photo, shown in performance, inscribed and dated in 1933 in New York. Size is 8.8 x 6.5 in. Stamped on verso by photographer Fayer, Vienna. Signature is on the dark background, but is clearly there, easier to see in the actual item, priced accordingly, in excellent condition.

French composer (1836-1891), famous for his operas. First edition, 106 pages, published by Mme. Cendrier, Paris, 1858.  Monsieur Griffard was Delibes´ first complete opera comique, and was world-premiered in 1857 with French tenor Ernest Leroy in the title role. A fine copy, signed by the composer and inscribed to the creator of the title role “To Monsieur Griffard, with a thousand thanks to the friend Leroy, Leo Delibes, 1858”. Contemporary quarter morocco covers original front wrapper bound in - First edition, extremely rare.

Italian opera composer (1858-1924), the greatest creator of operas for 30 years until his death by cancer. Great signed cabinet style photo, shown young, inscribed and dated by him in 1906. A photo by G. Magrini, Viareggio, size is 4.25 x 6.4 inches, very good condition.

Russian composer (1906-1975) and pianist, a truly prominent composer of the 20th century and considered by many one of the best. Gorgeous photograph signed and inscribed by him in Russian, shown inspecting a document or score, dated by him in 1966. Size is 3.8 x 6 inches, in excellent condition. Original engraving print by Abrahm de Blois, after a drawing by Gerard Hoet, published by Pierre de Hondt. Joseph makes himself known to his brothers in his palace in Egypt. Under the image, title Josephus Innotescit Fratribus, is shown in six different languages. High quality print, sized 14 x 21 inches, some rust on margins, image is in excellent condition. Rare!

First edition of the second and final version, score for singing and piano, with a listing of all singers in the 1876 world premiere. Signed by Ponchielli on the first page, inscribed to Italian lawyer Louis Roux (1848-1913), size is 8.5 x 10.8 inches, full book with 346 pages and covers. Some wear on covers, otherwise in very good condition. 

Remarkable autograph photo of the Italian star tenor (1873-1921), shown in role (probably as the Duke of Mantua, in Rigoletto). A photo by Hermann Mishkin, size is 5 x 9.25 inches, inscribed, with a large, bold signature - in excellent condition!. One of the most beautiful autograph photos of the star tenor we have seen.

Star Spanish composer (1876-1946), considered one of the greatest composers from Spain in the first half of the 20th century.  Autograph letter signed, dated in Granada in 1925, mentioning his masterpiece "Amor Brujo" (Bewitched Love), to an unknown recipient (most probably an editor and female friend). Four pages, in Spanish, with translation and transliteration, signed on the last page, with 3 additional lines below handwritten and signed by his sister Maria del Carmen de Falla. Each page is 5 x 8 inches, minor cracks, otherwise in very good condition.

American actress and singer (1878-1948), who performed in theater shows and some films in the US and England, mostly known for her role in Edwardian musical comedies, and became a popular postcard beauty.  Fantastic cabinet-style photograph signed by her with a short sentiment, shown in role in a comedy; a photo by Alfred Ellis & Walery, London.  Size is 4.25 x 6.5 inches, in very good condition.

Limited edition lithograph, published in 1984, with a creation by famous caricaturist Al Hirschfeld (1903-2003), featuring famous artists (see below) who performed at the Shubert Theater in New York. Only 250 copies were made and numbered, this is copy Nr. 65 and is signed by Hirschfeld on the lower right corner in pencil. Size is 21.5 x 28.2 inches, minor creases and spots, but in overall excellent condition. See scan. A TOTAL of 24 ARTISTS ARE DEPICTED: Katharine Hepburn, Fred Astaire, Bob Hope, Clark Gable, Jason Robards, Al Jolson, Groucho, Harpo and Chico Marx, Jimmy Durante, Ed Wynn, Carol Channing, Mary Martin, Eddie Cantor, Lillian Gish, Ethel Merman, Rex Harrison, Julie Andrews, Fred Allen, Ethel Waters, Alfred Drake, Helen Hayes, Lynn Fontanne, Alfred Hunt.  Also included is a certificate of authenticity signed by George J. Goodstadt, Inc. Publishers (who Hirschfeld had a long standing relationship with) indicating that this copy (Nr. 65) is authentic, from a total of 250.

Size is 4.1 x 6.25 inches. Photo by Guigoni & Bossi, Milan, with gilded edges. Mounted traces on verso, otherwise in very good condition.

Nice collection of 10 original, fine engravings depicting daily life and landscapes and a portrait, created between late 18th and early 19th centuries. Sizes range from 9 x 6.25 inches to 10 x 7.75 inches, one is in color and is sized 7 x 11.6 inches. Some age toning, but all in overall very good condition.

Russian ballet dancer (1908-2010), who was the first Soviet-era prima ballerina. Great signed photo, shown dancing, size is 7 x 9.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Queen of the United Kingdom (b.1926), the longest-reigning British monarch, and her husband Prince Philip (1921-2021). Beautiful, 4-page signed Christmas card, dated in 1960. Signed by both below a half-tone photograph of them with all their children and pet. Size is 8 x 8.25 inches, in excellent condition.
