Alboni, Marietta - Opera Playbill 1849
Famour Italian contralto (1826-1894). With the exception of Maria Malibran, she was considered the greatest contralto of the nineteenth century. Opera performance playbill from Theatre Royal in Dublin from 1849. Alboni is announced to sing as Amina in La Sonnambula (opera by Bellini) as well as in La Cenerentola (Rossini) and Don Pasquale (Donizetti) with other singers. Total frame size is 9 x 20.75 inches, playbill is 7.25 x 18.25 inches, in excellent condition

Famous italian bass and later baritone (1922-1967), world acclaimed, died young (44) of throat cancer. Great signed photo by Piccagliani from La Scala, showing him in one of his most famous roles: The Count of Luna in Verdi´s opera "Il Trovatore". Framed together with a clip from a Met program for a performance of this opera in 1956, clip is signed by Nell Rankin who performaned Azucena that night. Catalani, Angelica - Concert Playbill from 1811
Italian soprano (1780-1849), one of the greatest singers of all times, with a voice covering nearly 3 octaves in range. Original playbill for a performance of "The Messiah", oratorio by Handel, at New Theatre Royal in Covent Garden, London in 1811. Framed together with an engraving showing Catalani at a young age, both items in excellent condition. Total frame size is 16.5 x 13.5 inches, concert playbill is 6 x 8.25 inches (viewable size) and engraving is 4 x 6 inches (viewable size in frame). Catalani playbills are a rarity!

Signed photo postcard, dated 1913, showing her as Santuzza in Cavalleria Rusticana, opera by Mascagni. Also framed with this is a cast page from the Met Opera for a 1910 performance of this opera with her as Santuzza, and an ad from the 1910s from Columbia records promoting her recordings.
