Beautiful original plabill from Covent Garden announcing a for the first time a performance of Bellini´s opera "La Sonnambula"!. Cast includes british soprano Adelaide Kemble (1815-1879) as Amina (the sleepwalker). Also announced is the play "White Cat". Very large size: 19.75 x 10 inches! great item to frame in excellent condition.

Covent Garden Playbill 1904 Melba-Caruso-Scotti-Calve
Program-playbill from Covent Garden, from 1904, for a performance of Carmen, starring Dalmores and Scotti, with Emma Calve as Carmen, one of her most famous roles. When opened, it´s a full playbill with listings for lots of opera performances, including 2 with soprano superstar Nellie Melba, and 1 of I Pagliacci with Caruso and Destinn in the cast. Playbill has folds and some cracks, but is complete and in overall good condition. Large size! when opened, it´s 12.5 x 20 inches (or 32 x 50 cm).
