Otello World Premiere Program-Libretto 1887
Program and libretto (it includes cast singers and full libretto) for Verdi´s opera "Otello", with the World Premiere cast at Teatro La Scala, 1887. Cast singers include tenor superstar Francesco Tamagno as the first Otello, Victor Maurel as Iago (listed as "Vittorio" Maurel) and Romina Pantaleoni as Desdemona. This is a superb piece of opera history, really unique. Program-libretto is in very good to excellent condition, with no pages or covers missing. Cover is loose, and front cover is missing a small piece on the upper left corner.Size: 5.25 (w) x 8 (h) inches. This is a fantastic and unique Verdi and opera memorabilia item!.

Great program with a photo page, signed by multiple classical music celebrities. Program (and menu) comes from a dinner and concert in honor to Sergei Rachmaninoff by the Bohemians (New York Musicians Club), 1919. Program is signed on photo page (see scan) by composer Sergei Rachmaninoff, violinists Jascha Heifetz (only 18 years old at the time!), Fritz Kreisler, Franz Kneisel and Sascha Jacobsen, pianist Jozef Hofmann, soprano Alma Gluck.
