Russian ballet dancer (1925-2015), choreographer, ballet director, and actress. Set of 2 pointe shoes, one of them signed by her on the top, over the toes. Shoes have ink markings inside and also outside, by another hand. Autographed pointe shoes by Plisetskaya are quite rare. Each shoe is approx. 2.75 inches wide by 9.2 inches long, both are in excellent condition. See pictures.

Italian ballet dancer (1914-1980) at La Scala, remembered for the roles she created for the Rome Opera. Autograph letter in Italian signed by her, dated in Milan, March 6, 1932. Radice writes: “…Una volta di più sono grata a lei ed al teatro delle premure e della bontà a mio riguardo, che sono compenso più gradito di ogni altra. Sono lietissima di collaborare – per la parte modesta che mi è data – alla sua opera appassionata e feconda…”. Translated: "Once again I am grateful to you and to the theater for the care and kindness in my regard, which are more welcome compensation than any other. I am very happy to collaborate - for the modest part that is given to me - to your passionate and fruitful work.”.  Size is 6.8 x 10.5 inches, two written pages in one sheet (front and back), letterhead, storage holes, otherwise in excellent condition.

South African ballet dancer (1919-1992) and important member of The Sadler's Wells Ballet in England during the 1940s and early 1950s. Signed photo postcard shown in "The Blue Bird". Size is 3.4 x 5.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Russian-American prima ballerina and teacher (1917-2000). Fantastic sepia photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment. Size is 7.9 x 9.9 inches, creases, mounting traces on verso, in overall good condition.

American ballet dancer (b.1972) and educator, former principal at The New York City Ballet, retired since 2014. Color promo photograph signed and inscribed by her, shown in performance with The New York City Ballet.  Size is 8.4 x 11 inches, in excellent condition.

Austrian poet (1819-1904). Manuscript poem in German for famous Austrian ballerina Fanny Elssler (1810-1884) signed below by the poet himself.  Size is 5.7 x 8.8 inches, 2 written pages in one sheet, folds, minor stains, in overall very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a transcription in German and a translation into English.

Nice sepia photograph signed and inscribed by her with a short sentiment, here shown in performances; an original photo by Annemarie Heinrich and ink-stamped on verso by her. Set of 7 color photographs mounted on their corresponding mat signed by him, show in different performances; most of them ink-stamped on verso by photographer Petra Bober, Munich. Set of 2 volumes, published by John Henry Nash, San Francisco, 1920. Original publisher´s olive green boards with a printed label on the spines. Signed by both Ruth St. Denis and Ted Shawn below the limitation statement for each volume (350 copies were made and signed by both). Printed in Italian paper, volume 1 has only text, while volume 2 has only illustrations, mostly b&w plates, some color, of St. Denis in various dancing roles in her career.  Volume I is also signed by Ruth St. Denis on the frontend page, inscribed to Hal Marm, with a short sentiment (a total of 3 signatures by her on these 2 volumes). Size is 10 x 13.25 inches, water damage on covers and the first pages, minor, spotter rust, in very good condition.
