Program for a performance of the French ballet dancer in New York during the season 1949/50 signed by her, dancers Robert Roland and Trini Romero, and pianist Valentin Pavlovsky. Size is 6.25 x 9.4 inches, 4 pages, loss of paper over the bottom, in overall very good condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a small booklet with Svetlova's facsimile signature on the cover and containing information about her life and career.

Program for a performance of the two dancers at the Community Concert Association (probably during the 1950s), signed by both on the first page. Four pages, size is 6.25 x 9.4 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a signed photo of Robert Roland, size is 8 x 10 inches plus an unsigned photo of Svetlova and Roland, both photos in excellent condition.  NOT SOLD SEPARATELY.

Swedish-born ballet dancer (1804-1884) of the Romantic ballet era partially of Italian descent, a central figure in the history of European dance. Fine autograph letter in French (sold with translation) signed by M. Taglioni, about an appointment; postal markings indicate the year 1844.  Size is 5.25 x 8.2 inches 1 page, in excellent condition; envelope is 5.4 x 2.25 inches. ALSO INCLUDED is a modern colored postcard of Taglioni shown young in the dance "La Gitana", size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition; and an old lithograph of the dancer with her facsimile (printed) signature, size is 4.7 x 6.9 inches, in good condition.

Beautiful vintage carte-de-visite (CDV) of the dancer shown at an old age by photographer E. Albert (London), signed on verso by Taglioni as "Gilbert de Voisins nee Taglioni", inscribed with a long sentiment in French, dated 1878.  Size is 2.5 x 4.1 inches, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a modern colored postcard of Taglioni shown young in the dance "La Gitana". Size is 4 x 5.75 inches, in excellent condition. Photos signed by Marie Taglioni are exceedingly rare to find!

Fine autograph letter in French (sold untranslated) signed by him in Berlin, on November 15, 1847.  Size is 5.5 x 9.1 inches, 1 page, in excellent condition. ALSO INCLUDED is a modern postcard of a drawing of Marie Taglioni (size is 4.1 x 5.8 inches), and a modern postcard of Paul Taglioni and his wife Amalie (size is 3.4 x 5.5 inches).

Russian-American prima ballerina and also an actress (1919-1996). Nice note signed by her on the back of a postcard with a reproduction of the "Song of Joy and Sadness" by Russian artist V.M. Vasnezoff, to the ballet historian Cyril Beaumont (1891-1976), sending Christmas wishes. Size is 5.5 x 3.5 inches, in excellent condition.

Program for a performance of "Romeo and Juliet" at The Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, London, on October 3, 1956, signed by her on the first page in Russian.  Size is 8.4 x 12.25 inches, 4 pages, spotted rust on the first page, in overall very good condition.

Russian dancer, principal at the Bolshoi Theater. Nice signed photo, shown in performance. Stamped by photographer and handwritten on verso "Bolshoi Ballet, Lincoln Center Festival 2000". Size is 7 x 9 inches, in excellent condition.

Book by Arnold L. Haskell, published in 1943 by Adam & Charles Black, with multiple signatures of ballet dancers from the company. A total of 10 signatures, all in the frontend page and opposite to the back of the front cover.  Signers are (top to bottom): Ninette de Valois (who wrote a short introduction to this book), Margot Fonteyn, Leslie Edwards, Joy Newton, Margaret Dale, Beryl Grey, Robert Helpmann, Julia Farron, Alexis Rassine and Celia Franca. A total of 96 numbered pages, includes some photographs in black and white, 5.6 x 8.6 inches, dustjacket and hardcovers. The dustjacket is in poor condition, book is in very good condition.
